LAURA CASE

Tell us about your day job: I've been studying full time for almost 10 years. I am just about to finish my PhD and I've recently been offered a job as a lecturer and musicologist at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music! WOO HOO!

Favourite thing to do when you’re not doing your day job? Playing violin, reading, weaving and cuddling my handsome doggo Maestro.

How long have you been coming to Scout Pilates? I have been coming to Scout for over a year now!

What keeps you coming back? The teachers - everyone is so kind and positive.

Favourite class and why? I know this is a cop-out but I honestly love every class. I love being able to do a range of different classes every week and mixing it up!

Favourite Pilates position? The Swan Dive.

Enough Pilates chat, what in your life gives you the most energy? Finding new music and getting really excited about it with my husband!

Tell us your favourite place to eat or drink in the Inner West and what you order when you’re there? You'll find me at Continental Bar and Bistro with a Mar-tinny more than I care to admit.

What advice would you give to your 15-year-old self? Keep practicing your violin - it IS worth it and you will make it :-)

If you could travel ANYWHERE tomorrow where would you go? Egypt!!

What goal do you want to achieve by the end of the year? Finish. My. PhD.
