covid-19 policy

Scout Pilates & Yoga is open to all clients.

Please wipe all of your equipment and reformer bed thoroughly at the start and end of class to ensure your safety.

Please follow all staff directives about COVID Safety in our studio. We reserve the right to turn away clients who are not following the rules.

Class Cancellations

Thank you for respecting our waitlisted clients and honouring our strict 4-hour cancellation policy for classes and 12-hour cancellation for private and duet sessions. In order to avoid forfeiting your class or getting a $15 late cancellation charge (for unlimited membership holders) please be sure to cancel online through your Momence account at least 4 hours prior to your class. For private and duet appointments we require cancellation via email to hello@scoutpilates.com.au at least 12 hours prior to your appointment.

No exceptions. No refunds. No class credits. Thank you.

 

Service Sales

All sales are final. Refunds will only be issued in case of a merchant processing software error, or if a Scout Pilates team member incorrectly processes a sale on the client’s behalf. Refunds or credits due to an incorrect purchase or change of mind of the client will be at the discretion of Scout Pilates & Yoga. All return requests must be submitted in writing to hello@scoutpilates.com.au within 7 days of the sale date.

Introductory offer

Our 5 classes for $50 introductory offer is available once per client only in order to introduce you to our studios. Clients found to be buying the Introductory Offer more than once will be suspended and charged any additional class costs they may have incurred. The introductory offer cannot be bought twice in order to try a second Scout location.

 

Retail Returns Policy

All retail sales are final. No refunds or exchanges on retail purchases, unless the item is deemed faulty. No refunds or exchanges will be issued due to change of mind.

 

Late Arrival Etiquette

Please arrive early for a smooth check-in experience. Out of respect for other clients, instructors and your safety, there is no admittance after 5 minutes of the scheduled class time. If you are denied entry due to lateness, you may attend a later class on standby. '

Please make sure if you arrive late to have yourself signed in by the teacher or desk after class to avoid penalty. Failure to check in can result in a late cancellation/no charge fee. If you are charged but were present/accidentally late cancelled etc, a $1 deduction will be made from the refund to cover the cost to initiate the refund on your behalf.

 

Waitlist Etiquette  

Our system will automatically add you to the class if a spot becomes available up until 4 hours before the scheduled class time. If you anticipate you will not be able to attend and have not yet been added to the class, please remove yourself from the waitlist online using your Momence software login. You will receive an email confirmation when you have been added to class from the waitlist.

If you have been added to class from the waitlist, standard cancellation policies apply.

Note that you may be moved into an early morning class overnight. Please wake up early enough to check, or remove your waitlist spot to ensure you do not miss a class.

 

Class Etiquette

Please make sure to check in with front desk for every class you attend. Failure to check in can result in a late cancellation/no charge fee. If incorrectly charged for this, a $1 deduction will be made from the refund to initiate the refund.

Please leave personal items in lockers or change rooms - this includes bags and shoes. Our studios are peaceful and clutter free zones. Mobile phones can be taken into reformer studio provided they are on silent mode and are not distracting to you or other clients. Please place them out of the way of other clients in your reformer basket. For yoga classes, we do not allow mobile phones in class, please store them in a locker.

Please keep all food and gum out of the studio.

Stay for the entire class. If you have a special circumstance, let the instructor know before class starts and grab a reformer, mat or barre space by the exit.

 

Socks Etiquette

Socks are required for reformer classes for hygiene purposes in exercises such as feet in straps. Grip socks are encouraged for all classes and are available to purchase.

 

Shower etiquette

Please keep showers to 5 minutes or less. Do not use body scrubs in our showers. Thank you for being considerate and caring for our environment.

 

Lost property

Scout Pilates is not responsible for personal items. If you have misplaced an item, please email hello@scoutpilates.com.au

Challenge waiver

By signing into our monthly challenges at Scout you agree to the following waiver. I agree to not hold Scout Pilates & Yoga studio or any of its contractors or employees responsible for any injuries or other misfortune sustained while attending any classes or courses at the studio. I also understand that my contact information provided may be used by Scout and its event partners for marketing purposes.
