Scout offers a series of signature classes to thrill your body and refresh your mind.
With a curated mix of classical and contemporary techniques, each class is designed to make pilates results-driven, rewarding and really addictive. All class benefits include: Improved posture, increased core strength, total body workout.
Reformer Essentials
Our Essentials class is open to everyone. This class focuses on fundamental Pilates principles, functional movement and refining your technique. Don’t be fooled, our Essentials class isn’t EASY, however, we offer regressions and progressions, so it’s a class suitable for all levels. We encourage clients in their third trimester to join our dedicated Prenatal classes.
Reformer Beginners
Are you new to Reformer Pilates? Start your practice in our introductory reformer class. We will explore the foundations and core principles of Pilates so you can begin to move and play with confidence. Perfect if you are brand new to having a movement practice or want to go back to basics. Suitable for all levels!
Reformer Elevate
Our Elevate class is an intermediate class. Perfect if you have previous experience using the reformer or want to try something more dynamic. These classes focus on technique enhancement, layering progressions and increasing strength by building resistance with more complex movements. This class is not suitable during second and third trimester of pregnancy.
Reformer Power Jump
Our Power Jump is an open level reformer-based class using the jumpboard as the main prop. The jumpboard adds a heightened cardio and coordination element to the class, designed to get you sweating. This low impact, high intensity class will work the whole body with a specific glute and leg focus. This class is not suitable during second and third trimester of pregnancy.
Reformer Circuit
Our reformer circuit class is a 50-minute high energy interval training class that focuses on strength, cardio and agility. The perfect mix of cardio and resistance and designed to make you sweat, laugh and ask for more! While suitable for all we suggest you have a few reformer essentials classes under your belt before diving in! This class is not suitable during second and third trimester.
Reformer Stretch
Our reformer stretch is a 50-minute class designed to slow you down focusing on releasing, lengthening and restoring the body. Centering on stretches and poses to create space and mobility. This is the perfect class to add in to your weekly schedule to complement our other class offerings. Suitable for all levels.
Mat Signature
Want an all round mat workout that embraces the slow burn? Our Signature classes will take you through the Pilates repertoire in a flowy, mindful way. These classes utilise a variety of props to improve muscular strength, flexibility and coordination, designed to target the whole body. Don't be fooled, this class will hit in all the right spots and leave you wanting more!
Beginner and pregnancy friendly.
Mat Sweat
Welcome to our dynamic, circuit based mat class. This class is designed to elevate your heart rate, test your endurance and improve your cardiovascular health. Cycle your way through a series of targeted exercises that are fun, functional and just the right amount of challenge to leave you glistening inside and out. Grab your sweat towel on the way in - this one is sure to burn, but take it at your pace.
Not suitable after first trimester of pregnancy.
Mat Strength
Our Strength class is a dynamic, functional movement class, focusing on higher loads of resistance and body weight exercises to build your muscle mass and bone density. This class focuses on deep core stability and big muscle group activation. Expect to pick up those weights or work with resistance bands as you move through variations of Pilates exercises. Leave feeling surprised by what your body can do.
Yoga Fundamental
The perfect introduction class to yoga, or for those wanting to refresh and refine their existing practice by focusing on key alignment principles. This 60-minute class will take you through a sequence that will build your confidence with asanas/poses and break down the fundamentals of yoga. Through the connection of movement and breath, you can expect to build solid foundations supported by the use of props, that you can carry with you into our Open Flow classes. The class will finish with a long Savasana to leave you feeling calm and grounded!
No prior experience needed.
Yoga Open
This class is suited for every yogi practitioner! Focusing on alignment and mindful transitions, this 60-minute class will balance strength and flexibility. Through the connection of movement and breath, you can expect to explore some energising and creative sequences which will vary from teacher to teacher - each one bringing their unique style based on their own experience and lineage. Modifications are offered to suit the intensity of the practice to the practitioners on the day. You'll leave feeling stronger, a bit lighter, and a lot more open!
All bodies are welcome in this class, even though we encourage complete beginners to attend 2-3 fundamentals flow classes prior to ensure the best experience.
Yoga Enhanced
This 75 minute class is perfect for those who are looking to progress and deepen their practice! You can expect energetic and dynamic movement from pose to pose creating a sense of fluid physical motion and mindfulness.
You will be challenged through potentially longer holds, stronger transitions, and intelligent sequencing guiding you towards more advanced postures such as arm balances and inversions. Come with a playful and open-mind, and be ready to explore your edge!
This class is recommended for intermediate up to advanced level practitioners and we encourage you to have attended a couple of Fundamentals and Open Flow classes prior to ensure the best experience.
Yoga Restorative
Our Restorative class involves holding very simple postures for an extended period of time (between 5-20 mins) and using props to aid in deep relaxation and rejuvenation. The intention behind restorative is to nourish the parasympathetic nervous system and experience deep seated rest. Our Restorative Yoga is suitable for all levels and is the perfect compliment to a more dynamic yoga practice or lifestyle. It is the antidote to stress and aids in nourishing tired, sore muscles and has a strong therapeutic theme.
Not sure whether to do Restorative Yoga or Yin Yoga? The key to their difference is in their intention. Wanna rest? Do Restorative. Wanna stretch? Do Yin.
Yoga Yin
Our Yin class focuses on postures that are held passively between 2-5 minutes, sometimes using props to place gentle pressure on the joints, deeply nourish and stretch the fascia and improve flexibility. Yin Yoga is suitable for all levels and helps to increase flexibility and regulate your body’s energy flow; complimenting a more dynamic yoga practice or lifestyle.

Barre Burn
A fast-paced Pilates workout that uses the ballet barre and small props to deliver a dynamic full-body burn. Think isometric holds, heart rate spikes, and a glistening sweat all over. Our Barre classes support posture, flexibility, balance, and overall fitness.
Barre Cardio
Raise your heart-rate as we combine the classic flow and burn of a barre class with the fun and speed of a HIIT workout. Think high-energy, fast-tempo, and non-stop movement that gets the body working all over. Using small props and a killer playlist, Barre Cardio is the perfect addition to your practice if you want to really feel that burn long after the class is over!
This class is not suitable during third trimester of pregnancy.
Parents & Cubs
Our class for new parents (with cubs up to 1 year). These classes give mums the support and instruction they need to redevelop core strength, pelvic stability, posture and flexibility. It’s also a great reason to get out of the house, meet some parents and maybe have a babychino after. We offer mat based small prop, reformer and yoga classes for parents + cubs (we recommend doing a mixture of all three). For mat based classes, we recommend bringing a capsule or blanket for tummy time. Please have medical clearance to exercise before joining these classes.
Prenatal + Postpartum
We offer prenatal mat pilates, reformer pilates and yoga that are safe and specifically designed for people in all stages of pregnancy. These are 50 minute classes that focus on safe deep core activation, as well as strengthening and stabilising exercises that help to support every state of pregnancy setting you up for a supported labour and postpartum recovery. These classes are educational, safe and fun and will support you to be strong and energised through your pregnancy journey. These classes are suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced clients. At Scout we follow the latest evidence-based physical activity guidelines for pregnant people (Report for the Australian Government Department of Health March 2020). Private Classes
In our private sessions instructors tailor programs to support clients on their individual health and fitness goals. These 55-minute sessions are a personalised workout that focus on the best way to support the individual client through movement. Ideal for clients returning from an injury or surgery, clients with pre-existing conditions or illnesses, prenatal or postnatal clients, mature-aged clients or those that prefer a one-on-one approach over group classes. These classes incorporate a range of props and Pilates equipment.
