Tell us about your day job: I'm currently at uni studying psychology, so I work part-time in a bookshop on weekends. It's a super cozy job - selling, reading, and recommending books is something teenage me would be super stoked about. 

Favourite thing to do when you’re not doing your day job? That's a hard choice between sewing, reading, and pole dancing. I wish I could do them all at the same time.

How long have you been coming to Scout Pilates? I started in the 2021 lockdown doing the online classes but I've been coming into the studio for in-person classes for over a year now!

What keeps you coming back? The community and cleanliness! Literally everyone there is so kind and supportive it's so nice.

Favourite class and why? Any class by Mandi or Ellen! Both of them know how to make a class feel comfortable but still challenge you physically. I've never felt the full 50 minutes of their classes but I'm still sore the next day. 

Favourite pilates position? I love the long spine and short spine stretches, does that count as a position?

Enough Pilates chat, what in your life gives you the most energy? Definitely pole dancing! When I'm not at Scout I'm down the road, dancing.

Tell us your favourite place to eat or drink in the Inner West and what you order when you’re there? That's such a hard one, I do love a gin and tonic at the Newtown Hotel or the Imperial, or a brekkie burger from The General in Dulwhich Hill.

What advice would you give to your 15-year-old self? It's not a "girl crush" it's just a crush! It's okay to be into women as well!

What was the last text message you received? I'd told my friend I just booked tickets for a semi-solo trip to Europe and they said they were excited for me.

If you could travel ANYWHERE tomorrow where would you go? Japan! It's so beautiful there this time of the year and the food is incredible.
